The English Language Camp in Cambridge accepts children and teenagers from 9 to 17 years old*. And it is available during the summer, from the end of June until mid-August.

Accommodation during the language stay for young people in Cambridge:

Accommodation is optional, so children travelling with their parents can stay with them without any problems. And those who need accommodation during the English Language Camp in Cambridge have two options to choose from. They can choose the Abbey College residence (single room) or a host family.

Host families are carefully selected, checked and regularly inspected. This is a great opportunity to experience British culture while learning the language. These are double rooms and there are between 2 and 4 children per family. On request, children under the age of 16 can be placed with another young person who speaks the same language, in order to feel more comfortable and make the journey by public transport together. It is important to note that, in accordance with British law, young people between the age of 13 and 15 can stay with a host family for up to 4 weeks.

Supervision:

The priority of the language stay for young people in Cambridge is the safety and well-being of children. There is continuous monitoring during English classes and social activities. And the employees of the English school are available at all times for teenagers and their parents. There is a curfew at 9pm unless children participate in a supervised night activity or have permission from their parents to return later. Youth in the residential program can never leave campus without being accompanied.

Organisation of English courses for children and teenagers in Cambridge

The teaching method of English courses for young people in Cambridge is communicative and includes real-life scenarios.
