Language course for children and teenagers in Calgary
The language summer camp in Calgary takes place from early July to early August. It welcomes foreign teenagers from 14 to 17 years old*. *Are you looking for a language camp or English classes for younger children? The English school that offers the language stay for teenagers in Calgary is a leading institution in the teaching of English since the 90s. She therefore takes her duty to take care of the students very seriously. The goal of the language summer camp in Calgary is to progress quickly in English. But it is also to have fun at the same time in a multicultural and safe atmosphere. Indeed, the teenagers who participate come from many different countries. In the afternoon there are activities held four times a week in calgary and the surrounding area. And on Saturdays the school organizes excursions to famous places such as Banff National Park. Teenagers will therefore have an experience that they will remember for the whole of their lives. The full English language camp for youth in Calgary includes:

Please note that it is only possible to participate in the language day camp in Calgary. This does not include accommodation, transfers, breakfasts and dinners. *1 excursion per stay of 2 weeks, 2 excursions per stay of 3 weeks, 3 excursions per stay of 4 weeks.
**Leadership Program:
It is mandatory to participate for at least 3 weeks, and to attend the 10 hours of the program. Teens will participate in special lessons from 1pm to 3:30pm for 3 Wednesdays. And they will also visit SAIT Polytechnic University for an afternoon. Leadership lessons focus on Global Citizenship Education and skills development. Young people will therefore develop their critical thinking and communication skills. Some Canadian high school students, chosen based on their academic success and potential to be future leaders. You must have at least a B1 level (pre-intermediate). Participants will be required to take a level test at the time of registration. As space is limited, it is ideal to register several months in advance.
Organization of the language stay for young people in Calgary
English courses for teenagers in Calgary:
English lessons for teenagers in Calgary take place in the morning. The schedule is from 8:45am to 12:20pm Monday to Friday (with a break from 10:25am to 10:40am). Lessons include: vocabulary acquisition, functional English, communicative grammar, comprehension and speaking exercises.
Activities during the language stay for young people in Calgary:
Activities take place in the afternoon, from 1 pm to 4pm approximately from Monday to Friday. Examples of organized activities:
- Exploring Nature (Banff, Lake Louise, Calgary Zoo, Drumheller Dinosaur Region)
- Sports activities (football, volleyball, …)
- Cultural Routes (Heritage Park, Music Centre)
- Indoor activities (museums, lazer Tag, bowling)
